Computer Business Review: Genpact, Servigistics enter strategic partnership
April 27, 2011

To provide process and technology practices in service lifecycle management

Genpact, a provider of business process and technology management, and Servigistics, an enterprise software offering provider for Service Lifecycle Management (SLM), have entered into a strategic partnership to provide an end-to-end process and technology offering for aftermarket services operations.

Under the new partnership, both the companies will offer a comprehensive offering that helps companies unlock significant value in the business by planning and executing on all elements of aftermarket services.

The new offering provides visibility to management and eliminates process silos, which will be available through a flexible business-process-as-a-service (BPaaS) delivery model.

Servigistics global marketing and alliances senior vice president Mark Vigoroso said the partnership will combine Servigistics' technology strength with Genpact's process management expertise to accelerate time to value for service organisations that are held accountable for increasingly aggressive revenue and profit targets.

Genpact chief operations officer Tyagarajan said the partnership creates an unprecedented, end-to-end offering to the common problems faced in aftermarket services operations.

"With Servigistics SLM software, Genpact's SEPSM methodology and the option to deploy through Genpact's growing BPaaS delivery capabilities, we can help our clients unlock significant value in their aftermarket businesses," Tyagarajan said.
